Orlando Ramirez grew up playing soccer in Guadalajara, Mexico. Orlando’s youth soccer experience in Washington began at the age of 12 and included time with South Hill Revolution, Washington Premier, and with Puyallup High School’s varsity team placing second in the 2008 state championship. Following graduation, Orlando moved back to Guadalajara, playing soccer full time for the “second division” team Estudiantes Tecos before coming back to Washington to join the Tacoma Tides.
When sports injuries pulled him from the pitch, Orlando set focus on the coaching path. Over the years, Orlando coached at Seattle United, Franklin Pierce Soccer Club, and in Mt. Rainier, leading multiple teams to victory at local and out-of-state tournaments, including two WA State Championships.
Orlando currently holds a USSF “D” license and is working toward a degree in sports nutrition.
