Dear Sound FC 2021 High School Graduates:

On behalf of the entire SFC community, I want to congratulate each of you on your upcoming graduation.  I am hopeful that you will all get to enjoy some of the pomp and circumstance that was not allowed at this time last year but is so well deserved!

Our soccer community, like your high schools’, is a “family” of sorts and is made more robust, healthy, and viable based on the works and good deeds by the people within it.  And while each of you has undoubtedly made your school families stronger, you have also made a long-lasting impact on Sound FC and for that we cannot thank you enough.  As I have stated many times, there are myriad reasons why a player chooses a particular club to play for: coaching, playing with friends, competitive level, geographic simplicity, etc.  But the benefits of playing youth sports are fairly consistent across all participants: teamwork, communication, responsibility, accountability and commitment, just to name a few.  From what I have seen over the past couple of years, each of you not only possess these qualities that will serve you well for the rest of your lives, but you also represent your school and soccer families well because of it.

As you go about the festivities that will take place over the coming days and weeks, make sure to look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, on and off the soccer field.  And, as you do so, please know that being a part of the Sound FC family does to conclude once you leave high school and start the next phase of your life.  You will ALWAYS be a part of SFC.

Congratulations, thank you all and GOOD LUCK!

Many regards,

Jason Farrell, Director of Soccer Operations
